Care Infotech is seeking a driven, analytical, and hands-on Network Engineer with 1 to 2 years of experience to join our growing technical team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and securing our corporate network infrastructure to ensure seamless, high-availability operations across our business units.

Key Responsibilities

Network Maintenance & Monitoring: Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage, and availability to ensure optimal uptime and reliable connectivity.
Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and routing issues (LAN/WAN, VPN, switches, routers, and firewalls) promptly.
Configuration & Deployment: Configure and install networking gear, security appliances, and wireless access points according to company standards.
Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, manage user access controls, and assist in maintaining network firewall rules.
Documentation: Maintain accurate network diagrams, inventory logs, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and incident reports.
Collaboration: Coordinate with internal IT teams, system administrators, and external vendors for seamless hardware upgrades and network expansions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on professional experience in network administration or support.
Technical Proficiency:
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, subnetting, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, or equivalent).
- Basic familiarity with VPN setup, IPsec, and remote-access security.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Certifications: CCNA or equivalent networking certifications are a strong plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
